Purchased at a Value Village thrift store at some point in early 2021. This calculator is equipped with an impact printer, however, the head of the printer is a rubber stamp and had disintegrated over the years (and subsequently exploded when I tried to print something). I discovered soon after that the printer mechanism has not changed in this type of printing calculator at all. I purchased a sharp EL-1701v, a relatively modern printing calculator, for a dollar at a Salvation army thrift store as a donor unit. The printer unit was absoloutly identical and was a straight swap between the two. This calculator is now in fully working condition.
