Purchased at a value village thrift store on February 19th 2021. According to the date code this calculator was manufactured in December of 1985 by Toshiba in Japan. It came with its hard clam-shell case, however, the hinges were broken and held together with tape. Despite this the case still works surprisingly well. The galaxy line of calculators has produced some of my favourite calculators aesthetics wise, and this one particularly is one of my favourites from the line. Because of this it has earned a permanent place on my desk and gets used frequently whenever I need to do quick calculations.
